Hello friends

        Let’s talk about newest and most beautiful riverfront that’s has been made by the Gujarat Tourism Department and it’s made along the river “Karli”. It’s opening ceremony was done by the valuable chief minister of Gujarat Mr. Vijaybhai Rupani, it was done on the birthday of Mahatma Gandhi on 2^nd October 2019.

           I visited the place and found that you can’t find something better than this riverfront in terms of it’s beauty in Porbandar. I was very excited when I entered the gate, when I saw that Gujarat Tourism department has given us something that was never imagined by anyone. When they announced for construction and opening of riverfront we thought it would be a normal river front, but that’s not true. They gave us something that was beyond our imaginations and what we thought was only 10% and when I saw the beauty and facilities it was really 100%.

So I want to share about the facilities and the locations which I came to know that exist there. So let’s first note down the main services and facilities.

‌          In short the best place you can find in Porbandar for tourism as well as for local public also. Because ‌people uses to go there and spend quality time with friends, families and their loved ones for relaxing and enjoying.

Two gates:-The riverfront is facilitated with two main gate, both are highly secure and attractive in design. People are crazy to click their pictures near the gate as it’s really a best location.

A beautiful cart:-At the entrance of the gate and so riverfront you can see a most beautiful cart on which farmer and his wife in traditional Indian appearance. This is really an amazing moment to see this type of combination at riverfront as it doubles the joy of being there.

                           

 

Best locations:-Inside the riverfront you can find best locations for taking selfies and group photos with families and friends. And clicking photos at night is the another level of beauty because decorated lights flashes your face and you go crazy for another shoot.

5+1 parking facilities:-Here I said 5+1 parking facilities, because first parking you can see at the entrance of the gate and outside the riverfront. Other all five are located inside the riverfront, they are spaced apart from each other approximately 450 meters.

Gardens and Walking:- They have made best and amazing looking lawns and walking places. Those are really loved by people.

Street lights with Sound systems:-Now this is the most unique and amazing idea, I loved this much more than anything inside the riverfront. You can say that I’m crazy for it. There are number of street lights and everyone is facilitated with one sound system, when you cross the street light you can hear beautiful songs playing inside them and it’s really an amazing feelings.

A theatre:- There is really a big sized theatre for entertainment purposes, they want to everything that people think. This is another great idea to construct a theatre.

30+ food stores:- They wanted to open more than 30 food places because the crowd can easily find what they want, when they want and without wasting much time.

A seminar hall:- This is quite unique idea, because you can use this hall for delivering speeches and attending seminars. I’m sure I’ll really use it once I’ve completed my work on which I want to deliver a speech.

Meditation centres:-The people who want to meditate and walk on the way of spirituality and want to deeply feel and understand what’s spirituality can use these meditation centres. Also who want to increase their concentration power can also go there and start meditation. People now can’t complaint that they have no place where they can find peace for meditation.

A huge fountain:-Now this adds very much beauty and value to the riverfront, because it’s working with different shapes. It also has a sound system so people can enjoy songs when enjoying and watching fountain.

Playgrounds:- There two big sized playgrounds for children,there are many things to enjoy, like slides, swings etc.

Flowers:- Decorative flowers are looking amazing and beautiful, they are highly expensive and costly.

Library and Museum:- Actually these both are in still construction, so I’ll upload pics once they are fully open to public.

Length of Riverfront:- Everyone was confused and thinking about it’s length, people are asking each other for it’s length so here I’ve measured with google scale and it’s approximately 2.11 kilometres, and the result is 99.99 % correct.
